CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS
The Miami Chefs Academy @ FIU program is designed to provide students with continuing educational skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for entry-level and post-secondary training in food-related careers. The program provides students with a foundation for building a rewarding career in one
of the largest and fastest-growing industries in Florida.
OUR CURRICULUM
A 16 week condensed program through which students will learn about safety and sanitation, cooking with fruits and vegetables, cooking with dairy, eggs, and pastries, cooking skills 1 and 2, Catering and cold kitchen, food creativity, food sustainability, and introduction to restaurant baking and pastry.
